Marissa Mendes, RN MSN Director of Nursing, Skilled Nursing Facility

Marissa Mendes has been a nurse since 2012, inspired early on by her aunt and grandmother, both in the field, as well as the experience of caring for her prematurely delivered cousin. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 2012 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Sacred Heart University in 2017.

Marissa joined the Sublette County Health District in 2023 and was appointed Director of Nursing for Heritage Home in 2025. She is passionate about fostering a supportive, resident-focused environment and leading her team with both expertise and compassion.

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her husband.
