Sublette EMS
Duty to Act
Due to liability issues, Sublette EMS can only provide service when activated by a 9-1-1 emergency call. This emergency call activates their "Duty To Act". When a 9-1-1 emergency is activated, Sublette EMS will respond to calls in an expeditious, safe manner; perform a thorough assessment of both the patient and the situation; provide the appropriate treatment; and transport to a receiving facility when transport is warranted. When an ambulance is not needed for a medical concern, please call your preferred clinic to speak to a provider regarding your non emergency or urgent situation.
Cooperation with other Emergency Services
Sublette County EMS works very closely with the Sublette County Sheriff's office and the 9-1-1 Communications Center, Tip Top Search and Rescue, Sublette County Emergency Management, the Sublette County Health Department and all fire/rescue services in our county. In order to provide the best possible care to our residents, cooperative training and procedures, along with coordinated co-response to many critical emergencies, is a fact of life for rural EMS in Sublette County.
Community Outreach and Emergency Education
Emergency Medical Responder and Emergency Medical Technician Basic courses are offered routinely at the Pinedale Station.
