Lane Harrington - Chief Nursing Officer

Sublette County Health welcomed Lane Harrington to the leadership team in September 2025 as Interim Chief Nursing Officer.

Lane brings more than 38 years of nursing experience, including over two decades in senior nurse executive leadership. Before joining Sublette County Health, she served as Chief Nursing Officer at Upson Regional Medical Center, a 112-bed acute care hospital in Thomaston, Georgia. Lane’s extensive leadership background also includes serving as CNO at North Shore Medical Center in Miami, Florida, and holding senior nursing leadership positions with CHRISTUS Health in Alexandria, Louisiana, Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, North Carolina, and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida.

Her leadership experience is both broad and deep—ranging from the successful startup of a new 120-bed acute care hospital in Florida to creating a safety net healthcare system in Central Louisiana focused on behavioral health and inpatient psychiatric services. Across every role, Lane’s focus has remained the same: fostering clinical excellence, elevating the patient experience, and supporting the engagement and satisfaction of nursing teams.

Lane earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina, and her Master of Nursing (APRN) from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Executive in Nursing Practice (CENP) and a recipient of the Daisy Lifetime Achievement Award.

After officially retiring in 2023, Lane spent the past two years consulting in nursing leadership and CNO development. She currently resides in Georgia with her husband. Together, they enjoy spending time with their four children and six grandsons.
