Michelle Stauthamer,
Chief Financial Officer
Michelle Stauthamer joined Sublette County Hospital District in 2017. She has more than 13 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with expertise in bookkeeping, budgeting, payroll, tax preparation, accounts payable and revenue cycle operations. Since joining the organization, Michelle has played a key role in financial reporting, audit coordination, reimbursement analysis, strategic planning, and supporting major organizational initiatives, including the District's transition to Critical Access Hospital status.
Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Business from the University of Oregon and later completed a Post-Baccalaureate in Accounting from Southern Oregon University. She earned her National Rural Health Association (NRHA) Rural Hospital CFO Certification, further strengthening her commitment to advancing financial stewardship and long-term sustainability in rural healthcare.
Passionate about serving rural communities, Michelle enjoys collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to support access to high-quality healthcare services for Sublette County residents. She lives in Pinedale with her husband and three children and enjoys being an active member of the community she proudly serves.
